1 - Support your local farms! Eating whole unprocessed, natural foods is the beginning, middle and end of the best diet. Processed foods are anything in boxes, bags, cans, or packages.

2 - Unrefined versus Refined is the question. Easy question that is. Unrefined like whole grains, brown rice, millet, amaranth and quinoa are foods to try to choose. Beans and legumes with clean sugars like honey, maple syrup, and dehydrated sugar cane juice are certain things that you should substitute for the processed or refined versions.

3 - Every meal needs to consist of a few different things. Protein is number one. It is responsible for building your muscles and curbing appetite. Carbohydrates and fat are the other important components but it seems to be an easier thing to have your diet consists of. The right combination will keep you full longer.
